Struggling with Acne
November 14, 2017
Typically, ladies begin to have their face break out sometime between middle school and high school. By the time they're in college, they may have already found products that work well with their skin. I, however went through middle school, high school, and college with what I would refer to as, "perfect skin". Some people never struggle with acne problems, so I just assumed I was one of those people. Well, in January 2017, during our family trip to Vegas, I noticed my face had several break outs. I thought it was probably caused by the dirty air in the casinos. So I figured, once I'm home I'll wash my face and it'll go away. Sadly by the time I got home, the acne had already spread all over my face and as time passed, it only kept spreading.
Selfie Timeline of My Entire Acne Free Life
I started to think about what changes my body may had gone through to cause such terrible acne. My diet was the same, my water intake was the same, exercise hadn't changed, I had been on the same birth control for a year....what could it be? Well, in October of 2016, I decided to care for my skin more and start a daily skin care routine. Well, ironically enough, I ended up damaging my skin. I was using about 8 different products with so many different chemicals. From cleaners, toners, and moisturizers. I stopped using all products and stuck to the moisturizer I've been using pretty much my whole life, that obviously couldn't have been it.
Well, in March I decided to see an aesthetician, she refused to treat my face. She suggested I see my dermatologist. Because my dermatologist is in LA, I had to wait until May to see him. My dermatologist prescribed me pills and a solution. I was convinced this would be the end of my horrible breakouts. Well it's now June, I finished all my pills, and I didn't see, not even the slightest change. So I took matters into my own hands. I started using all my samples from Sephora and from my monthly prescription from Ipsy. After trying them all for a week, I instantly noticed the difference after using Fresh Soy Face Cleanser and Fresh Rose Face Mask. I cleansed my face every single day after my showers using my erisonic and I have not had a single pimple sense! I'm currently still healing, my face has many scars from the pimples, but I'm so excited to not have any more breakouts. If you have any suggestions, of how to get rid of acne scars...please let me know!!

So, what caused the breakouts?
Who knows for sure, but if I can point the finger to one product.....my answer would be the Neutrogena® Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser With Salicylic Acid. My skin personally, does not react well with any Neutrogena product, but I would avoid this product, just to be safe. The dermatologist prescriptions, didn't give me results as fast as the Fresh products did. So, I would def try Fresh products before taking another step.
