Museum of Ice Cream
April 26, 2017
The place to visit this summer is definitely the Museum of Ice Cream in Downtown LA. One of my best friends and I stalked the website for a week until tickets became available. We never got to visit the New York Pop-Up, so we weren't going to miss this one. Once they went on sale they had about 80 tickets per time slot, in 30 minute increments. I chose to visit the museum three days after the grand opening, as soon as I landed in LA. Being one of the first showings, definitely had it perks. There weren't as many strict rules as there are now, and I def didn't have to stress about what time I'd be able to go.
Every room is perfect, and a full experience in itself. There are about 6 different treats throughout the museum, one for almost every room. The chocolate cone they offered was truly awful. My favorite had to be the mint mochi in the mint room. I'm not going to describe every room, so if you decide to visit, you're somewhat surprised. The museum was originally only supposed to be open for a month. But, because it has become so popular and such a social media frenzy, they have now added dates up to October. I'm pretty sure they're all sold out now, but hopefully they continue to add more dates and times so you can visit, if you haven't already. |
