Chicago Travel Guide
May 5, 2016
My sister and I booked a spontaneous trip to Chicago for the weekend, we invited my cousin Isabella. It turned out to be one of the best cities I've ever been to. It's like New York, except, people are a tad bit more patient, and it's definitely cleaner. It's such a huge, beautiful city, I can't wait to be back!!
Here's a list of all the touristy things we stopped by:
|
Wrigley Field
We didn't plan to watch a game while being in town, but when Ivonne checked the schedule and realized the game started in an hour, we checked into our hotel, dropped our bags off and headed to the ball game.
Final Score- Cubs 5, Nationals 2.

Navy Pier
I would say, this was one of the best stops we made! The ferris wheel was under construction, which was a bummer, but there is so much to see here. There are boat rides you can take on Lake Michigan, a Carousal, and food carts. The skyline view from the end of the pier, is one of my favorite sights. I love skylines!!
Magnificent Mile
Lake Shore Trail
Maggie Park
If you can only visit one place in Chicago, aside from The Bean, I would suggest you visit The Willis Tower. This experience was amazing!! The clear boxes hanging from the building, freak. me. the. f. out. but it was SO cool. I literally felt like at any given point, I was going to just drop to the ground. I would def advise you to purchase your tickets in advance, because the lines are pretty long, and a waste of time in such a beautiful city.
